A Caribbean Wedding


The Caribbean islands seem to be a favorite honeymoon destination for newlyweds. The weather there is sunny all year round and it’s possible to enjoy many activities together; there are tours to take, water sports
to try, exotic dancing to do or simply a spot on the beach to relax, bathing in the sun.

In recent years, many couples are not only choosing the Caribbean islands for their honeymoon, but also for their wedding ceremony as well. However, there are both advantages and disadvantages on which to ponder when making such a decision. Continue reading »

Is Camping Part Of Your Culture?

I’m originally from Brazil and back there, we consider camping as something that’s primarily part the American culture. We see it in movies, magazines and books. Most of the Brazilian baby boomers have never had the opportunity to go camping, unless, they were a girl or a boy scout.


Don’t take me wrong. There’s camping in Brazil as you can from the picture. It started in 1966 with the creation of a club called “Camping Clube do Brasil”. So, to be able to go camping in Brazil, you need to either be a member of this club – which is pricy for most folks, or know someone who is. Anyone who’s a member can invite friends to come to a camp as guests.

Does Traveling Resonate With You?

I totally understand that kind feeling and can sympathize with people who find themselves in such an uncomfortable situation. I felt like that years ago when I had to travel by myself for the first time. However, I would translate it rather as “fear of the unknown."

It’s only natural that when you have to go to a different place, especially on your own, that you might have fear. Not knowing what to expect from something is quite scary.

Nowadays, though, there are many ways of finding out ahead of time about the places you’re going to visit. There are books and magazines you can buy; there are websites on the Internet that you can check. Perhaps, you know someone who’s been where you want to go and with whom you can talk about it.
